Blogpost 7 Kleptomaniac and Sexual Dysfuction

Philippines is what we called a catholic country but because of the curiosity of others it may somehow change.Here in our country there are lots of teenagers become curious with regards to sex.Some students tells they watch porn videos just for fun,but this can actually put this kind of act into their minds,that's most teenagers are pregnant but that based on my observation.People watch that because it gives them the happiness that they want.But some people who are very generous and polite they don't want to watch that because it can leads them to insane that whenever they look to a girl they think that they are having sex to them.In America we as far as I know for them a girl who is not virgin is a type of girl that is "cool".Like what my professor said that the environment have a lot of factors to a person’s life like what I said in America.

This article that I want to share with you that can definitely give you information’s or somehow persuade you that kleptomania is a women’s crime. The article entitled“Sexual Root of Kleptomania”.By Wilhelm Stekel,from the site of scholarlycommons.law.northwestern.edu. This article gives information about the cause of kleptomania. The sexual desire of a person that leads them to be tempted to do a forbidden .Base in this article that the women is the one whoe is more prone to kleptomania because of a strong desire to steal things and by sexual instinct that leads them to do what is forbidden.Sometimes the women are likely keep the object because it keeps them to remember the insane thing that they did.This sexual instinct base on the article is the cause why they want to do a forbidden and also for being a childish.According to WILHELM STEKEL that “the root of all these cases of kleptomania is ungratified sexual instinct”.This actually not only in women but also in men.The hysteria is also related in this topic that give support to Mr.Freudenrich said. Hysteria referred to a medical condition thought to be particular to women and caused by disturbances of the uterus.This will also create an stress to a women that leads them to tempted to steal object and also their ungratified sexual instinct that push her to do something that is forbidden.So these thing explain why this illness are common in the women rather than a man. 

To make things clarify to you guys I want to share with an article entitled "Criminal Justice Quote: History of Kleptomania".By Jim Fisher,from the site of jimfishertruecrime.blogspot.com Like what I said in my other blogpost that the kleptomaniac's steal what they want not what they need.Actually the Kleptomaniac are Rich,famous and educated person.They actually know that stealing is a crime,but they cannot resist to it.In this article of Mr. fisher , it talks about the why women are kleptomaniac, the relationship of drugs to kleptomania and lastly the relationship of sex in this topic.First why he said that the women are kleptomaniac is also similar to what I had been wrote in my other blogpost.The women steal because of their ungratified sexual  instinct that could lead them to do what is forbidden.For some study suggest that this sexual instinct could also lead to a women to be sexually active.For me it is quite true that kleptomania are common in the women because of that statement and also base on the statement that women are actually more likely do the forbidden rather than men.The relationship of sex in kleptomania like what I've said in my other blogpsot that kleptomania steal because they also want to express their bad feeling like when they're stress in this case sex is related in this kleptomania because of the feelings that the women trying to express herself through sex to a man or to her co-women.according to  Cesare Lombroso that "The reason why women cannot resist stealing is because of their organic inability",as I explain this quote I want you to remember the word hysteria, may people called as female hysteria because it is also common diseases in a women.The hysteria is the one that proves to what Lombroso said.Histeria like what I've said before is the problem in their organs which is the movement of the uterus.Some study said that many of the women patient diagnose with kleptomania are have also this disease.The treatment for this illness is to release an orgasm of a women, the physician usually use vibrator.For some study suggest that more women who actually get pregnant stop stealing.Do they really need to get pregnant just to resist their impulse stealing? For it's not the right idea because I believe that there's always an option to a people life and also there are many treatment that can help them to resit like cognitive-behavioral therapy and many other therapies.In this point many scientist don't know what is the right treatment for this illness, but for some observation said that the cognitive behavioral  therapy is the perfect treatment for this disorder because of what they seen for some of their patient who stop stealing because of the help of this therapy.So I guess many people have a different thoughts in ideas in kleptomaniac but in this case we know already that this is actually a crime or a disease of a women.

Blogpost 6 Reality of the kleptomaniac

As part of being a person, we experience love, a thing that could help us to be happy.In some people they are trying to hide what they feel from their crush.Usually the guys are very expressive to their feelings and some other guys think that they are handsome even if its not.In my own experience there are a guy who cannot express their true feeling in their crush because of the feeling of rejection, here in Philippines we call it "torpe". There is a person that I encountered, he has a crush and he thinks he like her so much.Then try to find her name in the face book and stalk her.For the girls stalking their profile picture and her  videos  are  very  scary for them because of the reason that they don't know  you.For every guys it is very prone to have a infatuation in the girls because usually most of the guys look  first in the physical that is why most relationships turn into break up before they  actually realize that its  infatuation only when they are in a relationship.

The articles that I want to share with you guys is entitled “Kleptomania: A Reality or PsychiatricInvention?”.By Stanton E. Samenow,from the site of psychologytoday.com.From this article the author compare kleptomaniac in driving a car.For him kleptomaniac like driving is a skills that can be pactice. Like what I said about my past articles that I share with you guys that the kleptomaniac don’t steal if there is a possibility of getting caught which means they actually a veteran in this kind of act.The author’s talk about a women who took orders to a friend  each day before she went to work.When women are went to store she always get the more than the things that he paid.We already know that this kind of act is a kleptomania.But some people do this just because they don’t have enough money to give a lot of food for their children.In this case it is not like because the women steal simply because she wants too.This kind of act is a very irritating reason for me because of her being selfish.Some research suggest that The retailers is more affected by the kleptomaniac,even if this illness or disorder are very rare in the populations because for all the retailers they go to business to get a money not to give away from the kleptomaniac.According to the author that “Kleptomania seems to exist in the minds of mental health professionals who do not understand the mental makeup and conduct of the proficient thief”.The author is blaming the mental health professionals that despite of their pretty impressive brain they still do not understand the fact why kleptomaniac steal.I am dis agree about the authors trying to say because the only reason why those people are just like that; a  people you may think a criminal because that is their choice they want to be like that so they get it.

Another article that I want to share with you guys,entitled “The BookWorm Sez: It's a Klepto's World”.By  Terri Schlichenmeyer,from the site of  incentivemag.com.In this article, it talks about the shoplifters, advising some business man about the existence of the kleptomaniac and also the were kleptomaniac started.About the shoplifetrs that the roman mythogoy  said that “that several gods were lightfingers”.For me it is a very humiliating because of the fact that the illness that they are suffering today are came from the gods,but it is only a myth we don’t know whether it’s true or not.And also another myths said that the kleptomaniac is as old as Shakespeare.Base on the article that the existence of the kleptomaniac is when the store’s exixt.

According to Sigmund Freud that “today’s shoplifters are more male than female”.  This  is a contrast on what psychologist research and observation .Since kleptomania is not yet proven as a crime of a man or a women .But for me kleptomania is a crime of a women because base on the information that I gathered and those articles that I shared with you guys gives me an enough information to say that it is a crime of a women,but just to clarify things up I want to research more about this issues.
